They are upset because he didn't fire Rumsfeld before the election because they think they would have kept Congress had that happened.
Makes me think that all the noise/pressure (from the right) on Bush/Rumsfeld and their disastrous policies before the election was purely political.
I suppose I was naive in thinking there was some element of "do the right thing" in there...it wasn't about truth...just about politics.
